Activities and Events for our Members.

Oconee County Friends of the Library utilizes membership activities to support the Oconee County Public Library system. Its members strive to make the libraries "the best they can be".

  • Conduct Used Book Sales

  • Sponsor Book Discussion Groups

  • Support Children's Summer Reading Program

  • Raise funds for resources and improvement of all four libraries and the bookmobile
    • Books, CDs, DVDs and audio-visual materials
    • Library furniture and equipment

  • Organize "Meet the Author" events

  • Provide help on the Bookmobile

  • Support Library staff

  • Sponsor and support free movie programs at Seneca, Walhalla and Westminister libraries. Call or stop in for current schedule
